Description

Wow! I think out of every project I have ever taken on in MMD with the KH models available, this has to be my largest project ever created. This one however, has a different twist added, as this will feature a more developed backstory in that our favorite Keyblade Warrior pairing are set to rescue Aqua from the Realm of Darkness, and bring her back to rejoin the living. But strap in, as this story features a touching reuniting scene you can miss!

And so, without furher ado, let's join Sora and Kairi as they attempt to save Aqua in "Rescue from Darkness."

Enjoy! Comment on what you think, as this particular piece took a lot of work to put together.

Note: I do not own any of the characters or settings affiliated with Kingdom Hearts or Vocaloid in any way, shape, or form. Nor do I own any of these models created from MMD. Kingdom Hearts appears courtesy of Square Enix Productions and Disney, and is a creation of Tetsuya Nomura.

I love it. I really liked Ven's reaction to Aqua and that Kairi went with Sora to rescue her.

Not to worry there. There may come a time a new comic makes an appearance for a rescue of Terra...

Such a sweet comic. Ventus' reaction to seeing his friend is adorable. Nice work.

It's good work, because it doesn't need any text, and still is very expressive. I suggest you pose the fingers, though.

That was definitely something I had wanted to do, but for some odd reason, MMD (due to the fact I work on a Mac), wouldn't position the fingers correctly and forced me to have to redo a few scenes two times, so I decided to pose the hands only.

Definitely a sign I need to partition with Windows.

Good job, looks like it took a lot of work; I do wish you hadn't just left Sora and Kairi in their default t-poses when entering the Realm of Darkness, and I'd recommend changing the sky in the Land of Departure because it's really distracting...other than that, you did have some very realistic shots that I could totally see happening in-game.

Thanks for your feedback! I had kept both Kairi and Sora in their main forms, as this is always I see some characters descending when they are arriving in a rather "divine" fashion.

However, I can definitely hear where you're coming from on the background in the Land of Departure. Because I'm working on a Mac version of MMD, the Skydomes that I load with the stages don't always turn out correctly, but for this particular Skydome, I chose to use one I had worked with before with Aqua and Terra in another pic I did.

Alas, just another reason why a PC partition can be helpful... lol.

Well, you can still have them arrive in a natural pose, but since everyone recognizes the default pose that the models come in, it just looks lazy when you keep it like that. They don't have to arrive in any grand gesture, but soemthing a little more natural where their arms and fingers aren't sticking straight out might be better.

That I hear. Will definitely be keeping that in mind for the next pics I create.
