Notes on the Korea Aerospace Research Institute in the Delta Dynamics' canon:

    ·         South Korea was a long-time partner with the United States of America for most of the late Cold War, providing astronauts to NASA and working in concert with that American agency after the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) was founded in 1989. There was no doubt, however of the slight the nation felt when it was cut out of the advantages of the Western Alliance in 2002, especially when the US seemed to be unconcerned with the growing famine and resulting refugee problems during the ongoing North Korean crisis.

    ·         The nation would form the new government of the Royal Republic of Korea (informally known simply as Korea) and would be completely subsumed into the Eastern Coalition in 2055.

    ·         KARI (1989-2003): transitioned into the Royal Republic of Korea Spaceforce (RRKS).
