Description
It's well known that in addition to making stand-alone illustrations I like to create series and use reoccurring characters. Also, I've been doing a number of collaborations recently that require specifically designed characters.

Now, characters don't simply appear out of thin air. For my own characters, it's a process of starting with an idea and slowly refining it over time. For collaborations, it's a back and forth dialog that can take many illustrations till we agree on a final character. In either case I wind up creating many, many pictures that never go into the final result that you, the public see. Until now, that is.

This gallery is to be a home for these character development illustrations. Most of them will not feature any BDSM, so I don't expect this will be my most popular gallery. I do this mostly as an historical record and a chance for you to have a little peek under the hood.
