This is a drawing I did a while back for a person who wanted an underwater version of Medusa, with squid tentacles in place of snakes for her hair. Mixed media on bristol vellum 11 x 14.Related content

Sandcastler - Thanks, the webbing is on her right foot, too, the angle of the foot doesn't show it.
Zgerken- Thanks for the info.... turned to stone or paralyzed under water, hmmm, not a fan of either of those options happening to me, though being turned to stone would probably be the quicker way to go.

The sea gorgon, much more deadlier than their land going cousins despit lacking the ability to turn people to stone, their looks merely paralysis the victim which in the sea can be much deadlier!

Oh wow...what a sexy sea creature!! Β The tentacle-hair looks exotic! Β I love the look of her cute webbed toes, though her right foot appears devoid of the webs. She'd look awesome with webbed fingers, too!! Β
