Description From my volunteer project with the local historical society. ZiZi is wearing the World War II Women's Auxiliary Corps uniform and is posed on a 1943 Philco radio-phonograph that I found last year in the dumpster.

I hate to nitpick an otherwise excellent photo, but the flag should have 48 stars. Alaska and Hawaii were not states during World War II.

Haha, I know. We had to make do with stealing the building's flag - pre-1940s ones are hard to come by!

Thanks It was donated to the Carondelet Historical Society by a lady who is currently in a nursing home... they are going to print the pictures I took of it and give them to her!
