Just a little sketch to celebrate that my two favourite Naruto characters have been getting some well deserved love in the lastest chapters of this series.They were so cute as kids! ^____^
and i squeaked so hard when chibikurama showed up. oh my cuteness ;_______;
Sketched out and colored in PS. Not my usual modus operandi, but cell shading always work better with clean lines...
On other points of discussion. I lost the source, but I remember reading somewhere that, following the line of clans descending from Rikudou Sennin, Uzumakis and Hyugas are at the same level as in, they are the "eyes for fighting" and the "bodies for sealing", being the reverse of what the two sons from Rikudou were. Umf, that doesn't sound very clear but I hope you understand what I'm sayingThat's interesting, yes? Might mean that we'll be seeing more of Hinata not just as love interest but as actual plot device.

My next Naruto fanfiction will feature Kurama like this -- small enough to hitch a ride on Naruto's shoulder or big enough to allow Naruto and/or Hinata to ride on its back. I'm looking for a photo to use as the profile pic for the story, but with the older Hinata :3
Of course, the illustrator will get his or her props for the artwork.

I remember at one point in the series the characters say the Sharingan was somehow derived from the Byakugan. It's unknown weather or not this is true. I think that just like with the Senju and the Uzumaki clans are related to the Sage's youngest son, it could be that the Hyuga clan may be related to the older son just like the Uchiha clan. I am not sure about this though. We'll just have to wait and see.

Anyways, the page is in spanish, so maybe I'll just translate the summary part:

The Senjus follow the path (combat style) of the younger son and are his descendants (special bodies with melee fighting skills)
The Hyuga follow the path of the younger son and are descendants of the older brother (special eyes with melee fighting skills)
The Uchiha follow the path of the older son and are his descendants. (special eyes with chakra based skills)
The Uzumaki follow the path of the older son and are descendants of the younger brother (special bodies with chakra based skills)
Naruto is slowly achieving the original body of the younger son.
this way, what Madara said about the 6th paths makes sense:
senju are 1ΒΊ, uchiha are 2ΒΊ, the rinnengan itself if the 3rd path, 4ΒΊ & 5ΒΊ uzumaquis & hyugas, 6ΒΊ the juubi
The order of the paths is irrelevant.
Of course, it makes much more sense if you read the whole text, so if you want me to translate something more, you only have to ask *smiles*. But yes, at the end is only a matter of waiting... but of course I hope the Hyugas will play a bigger role as Naruto goes on in his path of becoming the new rikudou senin. What's the point of having not one but two of them in the "main support character group", if they are not story-wise important?

Aww, y si, chibi-kurama es la cosa mΓ‘s mona que ha aparecido en Naruto desde el comienzo del manga *risas* La verdad es que Kishi nos estΓ‘ dando bastante fanservice de Kurama, primero en su modo tsundere, y despues en su modo chibi... pero no me quejo en absoluto! <3
