Description
Was feeling pretty Halloween-y, decided to try something a bit different from my usual. I'm pretty pleased with how it came out, considering the substantial lack of canines in my gallery! and the fact that i used a pic of a lion for a reference LOLFor access to the .jpg, .png, .psd, my brand new brush set and a step by step tutorial, please check out my Patreon!

The colors are so dynamic I love it! The shading is very well done and I like how you did the eye on the wolf. Even though I wish there was a background, I still really like it. I like how the blood seems to soak into the fur and I really like the teeth. I like how at the corner of the mouth the skin seems to be tearing, causing the blood to stain the fur. You mentioned wishing that there was a background - what sort of background do you think would work best with the piece? I left it that dark blue color because I didn't want to distract from the wolf and the little blood/spit particles, but it may be too plain. I'm just not sure what to put there.

i love the mouth and the colours used in this work! the would could look angrier by making the eyes little squished (it happens when an animal snarls)

Thanks so much for the suggestion! I left the eyes a bit wider because I wanted the image to be both angry and slightly fearful... but you're right, to look angrier I should definitely scrunch the eyes some. Thanks again!

I love this! The colours work together, the contrast and blend of white and red! Maybe my only point of improvement would be the tongue, I dont know what it is but something is wrong with it. Otherwise I absolutely love it! Great work!
