Thanks! Yes I watched the first Alien film a couple of days before drawing this one and the hunched position and oblong head definitely came from there!
I often worry about my work being too rooted in 2D, but I seriously can't think of how my style would work in 3D! I guess it doesn't really matter since this guy is so popular!

Welcome. I think you should try some 2-D work, Like anime or just cartoons, There pretty fun. Man 3-D... Make slime come out of its mouth! BTW know how you feel my Metroid 4 nightmare gif has been commented so many times.

Well anime isn't really my style, i'm no good with humans. But I do want to try comics using things like this.

Thank you! I like your (somewhat grotesque!) vision for it, but one thing that is for sure about my intention for this is its vast size. It is some kind of Machine God that probably lives in the core of a massive industrial planet causing mayhem.

Thanks a lot! I coloured it using Letraset Promarkers. they are awesome for any cartoony style and probably a whole lot more. Take a look at some of my other drawings, I use these quite a lot and I urge you to go and get some if you want results like these. They are so fun and easy to use. I drew it using a fineliner of the same brand.
