Thanks, I started with brushes but there was too much fine detail so I had to switch to pens.

oh wicked, now that you said that I can pick out the brush spots. and hey whatever works!

I'm still working on being precise with brushes myself (especially on the finer details) I need smaller brushes, I know that's part of it...

Ya, the only problem is those small brushes don't last long for me, and with me always being broke the two don't go together very well.

what are you washing them with? that might also be a factor.
yeah for the details I have one tiny brush which if im not careful can still be way bigger than needed.
im sticking to my microns for the moment. yeah..love brushes, but dayumn..

I tend to overload my smaller brushes, and I don't always get all the ink out of the base, so I get splits. I hate ordering brushes online, and there are no good art stores around me, so pens it is.

That sucks, my brushes have a lot of sentimental value so I try to be really careful
but I find its annoying that because I have cats the cathair gets in the brushes
and sometimes drags a stray line *twitch*
Whatever works, pens are beast too
