My entry for 's contest. I really, REALLY love how this came out. Especially the monster right next to the bunny, and the very pleased looking purple one in back. Look at him! He look like he's about to say 'Aw man, you brought us a flower!? We're totally gonna be the best friends EVER!'Anywho, new painting process I lurve. It's adapted from [link] - it gives me a great color palette to work with right from the start. For this image I wanted to leave as much of Bobby Chiu's gorgeous pencils in there as possible, because I just loved the texture of them, but without making it look like I just slapped a fill on each character and called it done. I think I accomplished that pretty well.
