I have made Splatoon Art before, even before getting a DeviantArt account. But I notice that my previous attempts at drawing Inklings and Octolings (save for the Zero Suit Samus one) as well as my Pokémon artworks all have thick ink outlines traced around the original sketch. While these ink outlines may work for Pokémon, they don't capture the freshness of Splatoon official art style. However, inspiration struck me when I watched this little video on Twitter. that shows how it's done.

So here's my first attempt at this method. I say she looks fresh from the official Splatoon art.
