"The Earth shuttered as the ground bursted open. A masssive tail broke the line of hills spanning down the valley and finally...a giant lumbering back rose from the rubble as "The Living Mountain" awoke from his ancient slumber".

Here he finally is my friends, Savounon has been redrawn for the new decade!
Altough this redesign is a HUGE departure from the original (and has some rather intentional resemblances to Mirator ) i do still think its a good recreation of the giant. I really wanted to make his body appear like a landscape as opposed to the rather sleak look the original had. I also redid his posture and increased his mass considerably while keeping the head small (wich does look kind of silly haha ).
One thing i really enjoyed was coloring him. Since the original dint have a pattern to begin with (not even in post-release behind the scenes work) i had some big freedom. It overall underwent 3 changes. 1 i used brown as a base pattern before going into green. However i eventually settled on a dark Grey to better make the green moss and plant growth aswell as the snow building up on his scales stand out more.

I might actually make a second redesign for you guys to vote, but for now this will be the definitive redesign of Savounon!
