Description #32 Saying it w/ Music

In an upcoming GMD pastiche called The Sound of Gold, both my Deniece la Chauve-souris and 's Irene Relda, do a performance of famous jazz & broadway songs at the famous Broadway Theatre in NYC. This airbrush painting is a picture of the two GMD Pastiche divas in their glittering golden dresses, singing their hearts out. As I had mentioned to Diane herself, I wanted to include illustrations of the two singers since the story will be in script format. I did this digital painting especially for her ... and I hope she likes it. Enjoy!

Oh, that's not Miss Kitty on the right. It's tranimation's character, Mlle Irene Relda.

Yeah, she does a little. If you go to 's page, you'll see her OC GMD characters. Here's a link to one of her drawings of Mlle Irene Relda:Β

Indeed, she does. It was 's GMD OCs and her website that inspired me to do my Lighten the Load!--Reyelene's Kingdom of Bats website. She does some good artwork.

Just read the chapter of Unspoken Words with Hawkeyes, and god was that sad as heck, since Hawkeyes was like another Rupert to fidget.Β If only Lillian didn't let her damn pride rule her head! On another note, the idea of fidget giving the captain flowers (lilies to be exact) was so sweet.Β

Reyelene In reply to teamdark2741 [2017-01-31 05:29:58 +0000 UTC]

Lillian really had no idea how she RUINED Fidget. And tearing the bouquet of lilies only to throw them on the floor?! Sheesh! The least someone could say is "No, thank you anyway though." And she realized too late after Fidget got into a fight with Selena and The Nightwing crew, costing him an injured wing and his right leg to be mangled so badly that it had to be replaced with a peg.

All he wanted was motherly love from her, and she threw it all away. He was even sobbing because of her treatment towards him! And she completely DESTROYED his emotions by having Hawkeyes beheaded, causing him to cry the entire night, not to mention become a deranged maniac. She claimed she was trying to protect him from the evils of mice, yet she added even more abuse on top of what he got from mice folk.Β

Damn, it's no wonder it took him SO long to come to his senses ... many YEARS in fact! At times, he'll still tries to act proud, he doesn't want to be pitied, but there are times when he'll talk about his past (because someone asks and he has to tell), and as hard as he tries, sometimes the tears just roll down in buckets. He has even apologized to Deniece for "letting his weakness get the better of him," Deniece assures him that it is actually what makes him stronger.

I know this sounds random, but does Fidget play a musical instrument?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Reyelene In reply to teamdark2741 [2017-01-21 05:34:21 +0000 UTC]

In the original GMD film, no, but in The Fidget Connections Canon, Fidget does make a wooden flute of his own and teaches himself to play it, though as a way to relax himself.

Celtic/gaelic is correct. "Greensleeves" is one he'll play from time to time.

Child protective services. Fidget as a child was a PRIME example of why the victorian era needed them.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Reyelene In reply to teamdark2741 [2017-01-21 23:25:04 +0000 UTC]

Ah, ok. I have heard of "Child Protection Services," I'm just not used to hearing the acronym as much as I'm used to hearing the full title.

The Victorian Era didn't just need CPS, they also needed protection for married couples. It seemed like the average, everyday married couple was getting targeted the most, especially by the likes of Ratigan and his gang who would go after them, leaving the children vulnerable and helpless without a Mommy and Daddy. Unfortunately, the government merely sees the married couple as "Oh, they're adults, they can take care of themselves, they're well off." Not true.

Both character's expressions are nice, and the lighting is v. nice. The play of light and shadow is very good and I particularly like the sparkles.

Wonderful job.

I'm glad you like it. I usually have trouble with the shading and lighting effects. I was so happy that I was able to pull it off in this one. As for the sparkles, it turned out to be a lot easier than I thought. One of my deviant pals who did a fanart of my character Deniece said that he only used the Airbrush tool for the sparkles in her dress. Well, it turned out that he was right. ^_^
