Description
One by one, everyone drifted away, following whomever they thought knew best. He listened to all of them, but once he had seen Osirus' cold corpse surrounded by mourners, he knew where he was headed.
He should have gone years ago.
Kniv followed the river, north, uncertain of his welcome. Uncertain if a welcome was even possible.
As the island's crowning mountain range overtook the sky, he paused. The gaping mouth of the forest lay ahead. Surely he would be greeted soon.
