... hate to seem like an oblivious moron, but what does a guy holding a severed head have to do with DMC?

Dunno, I used Dante from DMC as the main model and thought it'd look cool.

I guess you're refering to "Dante" from "DmC", not Dante from DMC, since that Dante usually wears a black vest, red trenchcoat, sports a signature Zweihander, and twin custom pistols, and white hair that he had since birth from his father, Sparda.

Me thinks you should make it a little more clear in the artist's description, because if you hadn't referred to DMC at all, this could have just been some random guy no one knows about, for all the onlookers might know...

I'm sorry that my artwork was not set up to your liking, and you obviously know more about it than I do. We can continue to debate about what should be in the description or not or we can enjoy the piece of art I worked hard on.

Oh, it's good, don't get me wrong. The art is great, the posing is well through out, and the lighting is well directed. I'm just saying that it could be made a little more clear (at least in the artists description) as to who exactly it is. Yes it's "Dante", but the reboot Dante isn't exactly an iconic look, is it? Again, at first glance, it looks like just some random guy.
