(i already posted on your foru thread but I figured a critique would work too)
The technique is very nice in this shot. You have nice texture in the fur and I love the focus around the eyes and nose where the most value is in the fur. The wiskers are great because they clearly stand out. And the blurred background is a real plus for this coposition.
Like I said in the thread. You have to be careful with pictures of cats because of Lolcats. But this is a great shot taken at a great moment and it invokes emotion. I feel like part of this isn't being shown to us. Is that the same cats paw or is it another cat playing with it? All in all it's a great shot ^_^
