Unabridged bio info below:

History: Michael “Mick" Pierson is the son and sole heir of Nicholas “Nick" Pierson, premier weapons manufacturer and primary supplier to the U S. Military. As unscrupulous as Nick may be, he does love his son, even if he considers him something of a “momma's boy", and cannot come to grips with his son's homosexuality. Realizing his son would never be accepted into the military, Nick has tried to “toughen up" his son in other ways, like making him train to become an Olympic pentathlete. Unfortunately, Mick was kept from actual competition due to his professional association as a gun designer.
Nicholas would actually go as far as to have “terrorists” attack his home and kidnap his wife, all in an attempt to force his son to defend her (This was set up clandestinely as an underworld arms deal, where Nick would make money either in the deal or by the insurance claim). Mick, refusing to use his gunmanship skills to kill, eventually took action and secretly knocked all of the criminals unconscious with just two silenced, ricocheted, shots of his rifle. Sadly, with the 2nd shot, stray gunfire from one of the thugs took the life of his beloved mother. Grief-stricken, Mick then made a solemn vow that he would never again hesitate to combat evil, as you only ever get one shot.

Powers and Abilities: Mick possesses the superhuman ability of unrealistic and seemingly impossible, aim. He is capable of intuitively defining the exact requirements (angle, range, power, etc) to perfect any shot, including multiple ricochets. Combined with his encyclopedic knowledge of the capacity and range of every firearm ever manufactured, he can often set foot directly into a battlefield instinctively knowing where enemy fire will strike.
Mick maintains his Olympian physique and skills, and despite never having been in any form of official military service, is quite the commando and strategic genius. One sacrosanct point however, is that he will NEVER shoot to kill, as with his skill, it simply isn't necessary.
As one might assume from his Pentathlon training, he is also a skilled fencer, swimmer, distance runner, and equestrian.

Weapons and Paraphernalia: While Mick can use any firearm with utmost proficiency, he prefers a Piercon selective fire rifle of his own design, capable of firing both 5.56mm standard and special gimmicked ammunition (fire retardant foam, glue, tracker beacons, etc). He has been known to carry larger ammunition and respective rifle conversion pieces. His wraparound eyewear utilizes night vision, brightness protection, and 360⁰ telescopic sighting technology. His uniform and the bandolier from which he takes his identity are made of various protective materials, and carry not only ammunition, but various supplies as well. He is known to vary his uniform colors to suit the mission at hand, but always sticks to a general 2 or 3 color scheme.

Mick tends to display a partially effeminate demeanor while in his civilian guise, if for no other reason than to help reinforce his secret identity and to rile his father. As Bandolier, he tends to be rather intense and all business, focused on the task at hand. He anonymously supports and donates a significant amount to various causes, such as gun control, and LGBTQIA rights, as they align with his (and his late mother's) general beliefs and also to counteract the opposing views and contributions of his father. As the Guardstars' Second-In-Command, he and Statesman may not agree politically, but they greatly respect each other's abilities and get the job done.
