I think you did an excellent job on this!
Some friendly suggestions:
Push back the lines a little. You might try using a purple highlight color somewhere within your home/back and menu buttons and see what develops.

I love it! Awesome job! The lines are a little thick, but thats what gives it the style that we havent seen much of. Very nice job!
