Description Study for: Speedpaint Studies Group (rules: 2 hour time limit, no tracing, no colour picking from the original ref. )
Reference: Fog 26 by lumibear
Painted in Krita on a Wacom tablet.
A lot of fun with finding  a way to paint this kind of multicolour grass. It should have been a very fast process, but learning new things takes some time Another observation I made while painting this is how important it is to think about painting in correct order to avoid having to pant around or over some already existing objects, which is much slower and harder.  I decided not to go for more details and finished at 1h30m.

Ooh, lovely rendition of the photo. I especially like the trees in the distance. Great work!

Thanks! After uploading I regretted not using the leftover 30 minutes, especially to make those bushes in the water look a bit better. But after all the purpose is to learn and I definitely learned some things by painting it

No problem. It's so easy to have regrets after the painting is finished, but as you say, it's all a learning experience! And, hey, it's never too late to go back in and add to it if you want to!
