Patent it, seriously. There are no hyena sculptures out there.
You'd make alot of money.

I haven't been around for awhile... I don't know if you remember me at all. We used to talk a bit over da.
Anyways, I've been meaning to ask if you do sculptures for comissions? and if so, how much do you charge?

Of course I remember you, silly! How've you been?
I definitely do sculptures on commission! Note me with what you're interested in, and I'll try to come up with a quote for you. My smaller 3" busts start off at $100. A piece the size of this hyena would be quite a bit more than that.
Good to hear from you, in any case, and I hope things are going well for you.

Oh, I love it down here! I didn't see the gray whales migrate down here, but when I was up in Northern California, around Big Sur, I did see a group of them a few miles offshore. There are always porpoises/dolphins around here, though, and we've even seen a few of them out near the harbor in Dana Point.
Hey, I'd love to do some work for you--definitely keep me posted. How's school treating you?

school's been alright, i'm worried i'll be there for another three years though because the program is so long. I don't really know what other options I have though... :/
what about you? anything new and exciting?

This looks pretty good for a hyena, especially with the shape of the ears as well as the shape of his body, but not so in proportion.
Constructively speaking, his body doesnβt seem proportionate to the size of his neck. Excluding the mane, his neck seem a bit larger in scale to the rest of his body (mostly in its length and slightly so in its thickness/width) as the length of the neck should be about half the length of his body. However, that may only be off due to the length of his body being a bit too short (from shoulder to tail base) as it doesnβt seem off from the frontal views of the sculpture and only so for the side views.
Ref photos: [link] and [link] (large pic)
Otherwise, everything else seems fine and despite the constructive speaking, I still like the way this turned out. It kinda gives it a stylistic appearance as if from a fantasy or partially realistic claymation film. And I do really like the frontal shots, especially the bottom two in the middle.
So overall, I still think this turned out very nicely with excellent detail, great photo shots and lighting, and presented in a superb way.
