Description
The Empire State Building from the top of the Rockefeller Center.I really don't like the green/red colour combination, but oh well, I would rather take the photo than not take it.

I lived right outside NYC, so I frequently went there. I think they used that color scheme for Cinco de Mayo and some other events, but I may have that wrong. I don't pay attention to it half the time haha

was the lens really only 50mm?
I was planning on bringing my 70-200 to NYC for a shot like this but if I can get it with my 50mm, I won't have to lug around my huge lens all weekend.

Yes, it's a 50mm for real, and the photo isn't cropped. I do use a 1.5x crop body though.

Yup, I have a crop too. I just went and my 55mm lens was plenty. long. The view from up there is incredible.

There was no colour work done, or any other work for that matter. It's pretty much as it came out.

Sorry about the Empire State Building color, it's Christmas not much you can do about that. You can try to change it in a photo editor.
I do think it a great photo though, the sky is nice and I'm sure the real pic is much sharper. Great shot.
