cool shot. i hate having to shoot from the hip but when it comes to street shots my current stradegy is to have my big obvious DSLR and then my tiny pocket canon a630 so that it doesn't look like i'm obviously taking photos of people. dont have to look thro the viewfinder of the PAS so id just pretend im looking at old photos. hehe. i love taking sneak shots of people sometimes.
anyways, this is a great caputre. i like the arrow pointing at him too, and the contrast is great. excellent b&w.

thank you so much. yes, it's tough street-shooting with a DSLR. that's why i started strapping it to my wrist instead of around my neck, and then shooting from the hip so that i can get more natural, unposed shots. it's fun to try something new, too.
