Description I've never actually been to Bryce. This was taken in the vicinity, near Cannonville, UT.

Not Bryce Canyon? Really looks like it! The sunlight on one side of the rock makes me wish that the foreground was sunlit, as well... But I don't know if you can plan your hikes to be there at a different time of day. At any rate you got lucky with the weather, and that wispy cloud behind! Gosh, you're just plain lucky that you get to visit (and photograph) those places

This is a mile or so outside of the park proper, so it might as well be Bryce. The area might be lit differently during the very early morning, similar to what you were suggesting. I will likely never know though, as I am definitely not a morning person.

Haha, me neither, but sometimes I get to see the sunrise after a particularly long night
(Not advisable for hiking in the wilderness, I guess.)

Haha, I wish I could still do that. Damn job.

This is quite nice But I think increasing contrast would give it a better feel... Maybe more saturation as well... Good job nonetheless

Amazing looking terrain. I love the look of the natural formations there. And awesome photography as usual.

Looks like ancient Cambodian temples recovered from the rain forest

neat-o! maybe you should take a hike up for the view? or is the scenery behind you probably too boring, lol

Lol, that's what I had to do to get to this spot (albeit not a very long one).

Stunning! The warm colour of the sun on the spire really make it stand out from the surrounding terrain. And the composition, with the upswept clouds in the background, is great.
