Description
I drew this for two reasons;
1. As a birthday gift for one of my closest friends since 6th grade :3 and
2. Placement for an art class. I've never taken an art class before, but I wanted to, so when this was halfway done, I took this and a few other drawings to school to show the art teacher. At my school, before you can take a drawing or painting class, you have to take a course called Art and Design. A&D is basically a class that teaches you how to draw circles and stuff :/ So I didn't want to take it. Anyway, after I showed my drawings to the art teacher, not only did she let me skip out of art and design but most of the drawing classes as well - second semester next year, I'll be jumping straight into the final drawing course I'm super excited, but also really nervous. I hope I can keep up

Anyways, I'm actually pretty happy with how this turned out. It's not perfect (and my scanner totally butchered it...I feel like it looks much better IRL) but it turned out somewhat close to how I hoped it would. Drawing like this is much more time consuming and tedious compared to the cartooning that I normally do, however, it's also much more rewarding. So, I'll probably continue to do stuff like this every now and again ^__^
