I love your art but I have a question...
Do you draw the person first or the background?

By the way is their somethings that I have to learn before using watercolor or should I just try it out?

haha thanks ^^
i think you should learn the basic techniques like glazing, washes, etc so you can use it to it's full potential. but you should also experiment a lot because you can get the most awesome effects
here is a website for watercolor tehcniques.. just scroll down ^^

lol yeah... for me it's really hard to use watercolor by itself.. i need to use ink to create an outline as a guildeline OTL and it's hard to do still life...im still pretty new to it though
i saw your gallery and it's REALLY amazing! you draw portraits so well *.* do you draw a lot?

Yeah I get what you mean, and ink is fun too ^^
Well you can try landscapes because you don't really need outlines for that. And drawing little flowers and stuff is fun (:
Thank you, yeah I'm alright I guess. I take about two hours out of my day to draw but I've only been drawing for three years no so I'm sure that I can get better. I like your drawings more anyways, they are much more interesting. Mine are just what I'm looking at and it gets boring.

haha ^^
i mean it's harder for me to use watercolor without using outlines lol
you are really good ^^ you are technically better.. my drawing are just colored cartoons... still life can get pretty interesting though too. plus if you really think it's boring you can always just draw things out of your head.

I'm okay I used to like it and then one day I got bored of it xD That's why I'm trying new things now (: Yes I can do that but I'm not very creative so I wouldn't come up with anything amazing out of my head.

Yes thats very true. I usually just draw people that I listen to or people that I know. I never really did too much past that.
