Have you been inspired by Antarel by chance?
You have a similar incredibly detailed and flashy style.

I have been inspired by Antarel by introducing me to the gijinka genre and thus start to create gijinkas since PokΓ©mon was one of my favorite show and gaming while growing up (actually it still kind of is). 
The inspirations for my pieces are inspired by visions that appear or flash in my head. As best as I can try to explain, the visions are usually influenced by sheer randomness; or when I have been profoundly touched by something that causes me to think deeply.
As far as technique is concerned, I really find it difficult to compare my work with Antarelβs amazing pieces. ^-^; To be honest, I love my work but I donβt think my style is nearly as detailed or flashy as her work.

I haven't tried it myself either, but I think you're right. The results should be the same, if not better.

Hmm, I just tried it, but it wouldn't become so good. Maybe I should try more different adjustments on the radial blur and twist filters. And I don't understand that color curves thing. Damn, I used to know how to use it. I guess I need to look up some help page...
