Description Yo!Β For this March 8, it was a chance to take.
And taking inspiration from my photo, I'm going to talk about universalism and ethnocentrism.
How in the mass of individuals and despite our differences we manage to reduce the existence of others,
their sex, their origin in the name of universality, of democracy to pretend that we're, hypocritically all equal,
but in our daily lives we are complicit in sexism and ordinary racism.

I remind you that I am a white man and that I do not feel particularly legitimate or very enlightened on the subject.
Besides, I dread a lot, because I'm afraid to say a lot of bullshit.
I apologize to you in advance if my conception of feminism needs improvement.
If the way I construct my ideas at the same time as I write is sinking rather than going the right way.
Or if I'm pushing on an open door...

This is where it gets complicated ... How do I take this subject ..?
We are crap! There you go, thank you good day !!!

I think the word feminism speaks only to women and men who are already engaged in the struggle. We all know this word, but there are as many interpretations as there are people alive in this world.
But I think we all agree on the fact that it is about defending women with ideas and actions coming from them.
But the word scares people, especially men.
If I take my case, I saw it as a morality which consists in making the judgment of all the men of the world.
We can also quickly agree and say yes feminism is good, machismo is bad. Thank you goodbye !
And that's how nothing is resolved and mentalities in society remain the same.

I have to cut out the subject because there are several layers to develop.

I can bring up the subject, about my life and how I started to change my perspective and tell myself that it would be good to evolve.
And talk about what I perceive from my angle, about society.
With that there is a way to write 14 books. So yes it will be a long time yet.

I think when we talk about feminism to a man and women without any basis.
We project ourselves immediately with the concepts of "Galanterie" (gallantry, chivalry) ... Concepts, in my opinion, made by men to dominate and seduce.

Me, that pisses me off. Because the position is different depending on who is interpreting it.
I have often heard men say "You could do that, it's a woman, you could be a gentleman."
And women accept this concept saying "We are women, we deserve gallantry".
I think first this idea is crap because it hides some sexist interests.
From one woman to another, not all of them want to be princesses and be reduced. Weak who need to be assisted.
But there I can fall into hypocritical universalism.

I think the people deep inside are formatted for this bullshit. And we find ourselves in the Newspeak.

We are doing things that are going in the right direction, but not for the right reasons.
We play on the guilt to reduce the other using a noble goal, but to keep the advantage of over others without appearing an asshole.
I think it is not constructive to "educate", nor to support the injustices done to women.
You don't have to seduce or want to be seen by a woman to want to help.
And I swear all the male shit that used, that was big assholes obsessed with the image they gave to women.

I think it's not enough to take down the trash for your wife.
I think who is an if on March 8 women all over the world are demonstrating. It's for deeper ideas. More constructive.
And that as men this kind of bullshit that stops is stupid.
I think women are fighting to stop treating them like shit, harassing them, beating them up, raping them.
To prevent them from using their body as they wish.
To make them uncomfortable on a daily basis so as not to offend men's ego. Avoid firing a job for shitty pay.
To have greater pressure in studies or work since as women because they are in a male world and must do faster and better if they want to be accepted.

To come back to my speech at the beginning, there is a general work of conscience to be done. And that's also why I think they protest and fight every day. Because they are fed up with it.
And that it will not change like that.

Helping your wife is one thing.

This is where we see that I have a poor understanding of the subject I go in all directions.....

If we take the problem from the beginning.
And we just start to think that there is a basic problem of inequality. And that all women are and will be unequal in society. And that for that they must be supported and helped rather to speak of merit and gallantry.
If we consider each person on a case-by-case basis and SPEAK together. LISTEN to what each person needs.
We avoid, I think, ordinary bullshit.
And if we unlock the dialogue, a woman who considers that she does not need to be helped will say so and one who likes to be polite or to give it. Will say so.
I am a Marxist, I am for progressive ideas. And I do bullshit but I'm also hypersensitive. It has advantages and disadvantages. But also helps a lot to question yourself, to have empathy and humility. And to be proud of it.
Without hiding behind a schema of asshole manhood.

I think I will stop there. There is a lot to be explored.
But I see that I am mishandling the subject. And that it will require writing, correcting, rethinking, in short a lot of work.
And I am not capable of it. Hope I didn't do too badly. And I hope to continue to improve myself and
meet people who have a more experienced vision and who will know how to be forgiving and patient.

I wish you the best and take care of yourself!
