This is the first of 3 tiger paintings I'm making for an art exhibition this fall. The theme of this trilogy is Year of the Tiger, for 2022 and the energy of the tiger. The tiger stands for courage, bravery, power, strength, sovereignty, independence, leadership, wisdom, and tigers are regal, elegant, nimble, attentive and command respect and authority. No two tigers look the same, their stripes and marks make them unique.
Watercolors on Arches 640 gsm paper, 35 x 54 cm. The painting is for an exhibition I participated in this September.
