every now and then you catch something with your camera you had never expected to catch, this is the biggest reason I love fire; you never know what your going to catch with it.

Sometime you catch very detailed and obvious things that totally make you take a step back and go "wow, and that was in a regular bit of flame; an image or thought that's quite literally gone in an instant"

This is the start of a collection of both stock fire and those "wow" photos that I hope will aid in inspiring many of you .

ps: anyone taking photos like this one will want to use a high ISO (shutter speed) if you want to avoid motion blur, it normally means you need to settle for a smaller resolution in normal cameras, but I personally think it's worth it for this kind of shot
