I cannot see the world as it truly is, but as the world would have me see it. I must fix my eyes on heavenly things, for I am a child of God, adopted because of the promise of Christ through the Holy Spirit, who is my guarantor that this world that I see, is not my forever home, it is with our Father in heaven. Therefore I do not walk as one blind, stumbling about, but I set my eyes on Jesus and I walk towards Him. I do not walk by sight, I walk by faith, and by my prayers and perseverence in seeking God, the scales fall off my eyes, and He gives me light to see His kingdom, and the strength of His spirit to do His work to bring His kingdom on Earth, as it is already in my heart.
