After over a year from it's humble beginnings, this picture has finally found it's end.I used some references, only for his armor designs, because I couldn't tell you how his armor looks off the top of my head. Everything else though is made-up by me (i.e. pose, sword, stuff...).
I kind of rushed where I left off from the last W.I.P. Everything different that you see in this picture, compared to the last W.I.P. I did all in one sitting.
But, I'm really glad with how it turned out... I'm proud of myself for being able to finish it.
This is a biggin' and I'm sorry. But I really want you guys to see all the details... So full view and appreciate.
Or don't. It's all up to you...Oh. And I know you can't really bleed in space, because there's no oxygen... But let's just say he was bleeding prior to falling towards the planet in space (like he was kicking ass in a covenant ship or something), and by some miracle, he's still alive even though he has cracks and holes in his armor.

EDIT: Fixed the flames and instead added a planet under him... Hopefully that helps. Oh and I spelled his name right this time.

The detail is great, as well as the coloring and shading. The warm colors used for shading works very well with the flames. Background is nice, highlights look good, and the wings are great @_@. The pose could use a little bit of work. You could probably give off a better sense of "falling" if you positioned the legs differently. The way they are positioned now, it can be difficult to determine whether the silhouette is floating or standing on solid ground.
And I'm not sure what's going on with the flames below him. They're obviously there, but I don't see it's purpose. He's falling and heating up, but all of the flames below him, to me, lack a sense of movement, and seem more like there's a still object below him that we can't see, that's simply on fire. e.deviantart.com/emoticons/h/h⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="

But I agree. The flames were a last minute throw-in, because it kind of seemed empty below him.. I was kind of hoping it'd be like the atmosphere burning up.. But yeah. The atmosphere usually doesn't just burn... Haha. I'll remove it though here.

Wow, I hate to say it, but this seems better then the other one. the planet seems to draw the eye from the bottom of the pic, unlike the other, which the flames dominated XD but this is still awesome.
