Kano usually just kicks people or tricks them into unfair games where their enemies end up loosing all their belongings.
Usually Kano refrains from using their hands so the nails won't be hurt or misshaped.
If really needed they would still punch people in the face though.

Personality:
They are a very open person with a thing for silly jokes and laugh a lot even if they are unhappy.
Kano is kind of a flirt but usually fails miserably at looking cool while hitting on others.
Art and individuality being a important part of their life they try to keep situations as interesting as possible,
even if that would cause them self a little disadvantage. Kano also has a very loud and rough way of speaking
and sometimes problems with expressing their feelings in a way people wouldn't feel uncomfortable with.
(loud shouting, screeching, to much contact and literally no sense for personal space)
They enjoy themself not only by watching dump internet videos and spending their time on sites like tumblr
but also by going into arcades or playing card games and similar stuff with friends.
Even if Kano doesn't like to admit it they happily watch others suffer from defeat.
Kano certainly isn't a birdbrain and could be a good student IF they would just care for this "way to ordinary" lifestyle and go to school.
Having problems within their own family they feel more accepted in the group of unusual individuals of a gang and start being really protective of this "second family".

History:
Kano always lived a rather normal middle class life with their parents and their older sister Yukako.
Their parents being average people (the father a salesman and the mother a nurse) they never had exponentially much money nor have they been poor. Kano soon grew bored of this everyday life and wanted to escape it.

Their time at school wasn't the peak of their day either.
Kano always wore flashy clothes and bright colours, a behaviour they adapted from his beloved sister, and stood out pretty much because of that. No one bullied them but they didn't have much friends too.
Looking back at it Kano sees the problem with their bold behaviour towards others. Despite not being very social they went to school every day and tried their very best but they couldn't bring themself to really, totally enjoy it.

Them standing out wasn't only bound to their way of clothing. Kano always felt pretty different too when it came to typical boys and girls stuff. They just didn't feel like they belonged anywhere.
Telling only Yukako and no one else about their worries of maybe being some weird alien creature they were very confused as their sister suddenly started to laugh. She told them about nonbinary people and how they might be that.
As Kano looked it up some more they really felt like that would describe them but the reaction of their parents wasn't what they thought it would be like. They were ok with their father being shocked, since he at least accepted it. Their mother at the other hand didn't even want to acknowledge it. Her screams and shouting did not only hurt Kano deeply but also caused a long history of fighting in the house.

Kano's little bit of normal life finally crumbled when their sister Yukako went away to study abroad in germany.
The one person that always stood behind them left Kano on their own with their problems.
They never hated Yukako for it. There was no reason. She did what she wanted and Kano always loved her and wanted her to be happy.
But with her their last security went away and Kano fully turned their back on the normal way of living.
"If i have no ties here I should go and see how strange this world can be" Kano thought.

They spend many hours inside their local arcade during that time and often saw high schoolers from his new school coming trough.
Kano didn't actually know many of them since they stopped going to school on a regular basis after Yukako left. (She scolds them for it though)
Grewing interested in that strange group they one day approached them to ask what exactly they were doing.
As they told them about the gangs and their way of living Kano was even more interested in them.
They liked their way and how they stood for being different. Kano had a feeling that they could finally be themself and truly life their life as they wanted too there. Not needing to blend in the crowd, not changing their attitude in front of others. Simply Living.
Captivated by this group they came to the conclusion they wanted to be part of it and tried their best to get accepted.
