This is (barring any unforseen-but-necessary modifications) my entry for =ryan-gfx 's Totem Pole Project ([link] )

I was trying to go for an Arthurian, Excalibur-in-the-stone deal, but I got bored responses, so I added the flowering vine, which works with the theme, I think. At any rate, it beats last year's entry: [link] which rather defied the laws of physics (or would have, if it had been real wood).
