this was supposed to be a redraw of this drawing from 2017 December:
but ya'll know how my "redraws" go lol........
"im gonna change some stuff to make it look cooler than the original" -->> "oh haha oops i think i overdid it, i guess i'll at least try to use the same color palette so they still look somewhat similar" -->> "actually i don't really like these colors, let's change them up a little bit" -->> ends up using a completely different color palette -->> drawing turn out looking nothing like the original
i guess the concept is similar? "Simon holding flowers"? actually is that even Simon in that pic? where is his birthmark and why does he have round glasses? did Simon even exist back then? is that like, his prototype or something? i don't know man
anyway description says it was my 'last drawing of 2017'..so there is a two year difference between these drawings.. i think i've improved. I'm actually starting to like my drawings again. so that's good

I think it's still completely valid as a redraw despite drastic change, is the same concept just showing how much your style, composition and use of color has changed during this time, which is pretty amazing! I really love the expression and color palette from this new version! ♡
