well...it was funny when it was in my head..xpwell here is original 1984 freddy vs 2010 freddy..xp
if you dont get it...then watch the movies! but ill tell ya anyways:
1984:
freddy was a child murderer who worked in a power planet.
the angry parents set freddy on fire and then he came back in ppls dreams to kill the children of the parents who killed him.
2010:
freddy was a gardener at Badham preschool who molested the children there. instead of having the children painfully explain what he did to them in court, the parents decided to chase krueger down and take care of it themselves. he burned to death inside an old factory boiler room thing. he came back to kill the preschool children he had once done terrible things to.
so yeah..two different freddys. xp
i love the original freddy...but the new one totally creeps me out.
if i saw 1984 freddy in my dream i'd be like oh hey! and then crack a few puns...cuz yknow..old freddy is comical..xp
if i saw 2010 freddy in my dream...id be running man...hes creepy...xp
i like both movies ...
but for different things.

Actually, the original Freddy was always meant to be a child molester but due to events around the time of the first film it was changed.

Old Freddy originally was gong to also be a pedo, but California was having pedo problems and didnt want that brodcasted to the rest of America, so they asked Craven not to have Freddy be a pedo..also Disney wanted to water down the idea for a children's tv show.

Oh, yeah, sure, you're worried about ol' mister Krueger here (pats Freddy's shoulder) getting and killing your children, so you create a lynch mob to go find him. By doing that, you leave your children unprotected, thus making it easier for mister Krueger here to find them. Now tell me, is that smart?

I don't like new Freddy, I think the NOES films by Wes Craven were perfect on thier own. I snuck into see it when I bought a ticket for another movie, hated it. I preffer a child killer Freddy than Paedo Freddy.

I agree, only Robert England could pull off Freddy Krueger. 1980's Freddy looked like he had actually been burned, new Freddy looks like one of those hairless cats got fused with a human and had its cheeks split open.

Old Freddy isn't comical in ANOES 1984 or ANOES 2. Just sayin.....he's sure creepy and he does talk...but the remake freddy cracked more puns than original freddy in the first two movies....ESPECIALLY the first one.

I know Freddy became more comedic. And yes, it was mainly in films 4-6. It began in part 3 though....slightly....he still had a sadistic humor though. Freddy vs Jason took him back to about a medium between 3 and 4. New Nightmare had him dark. Which I liked. He was evil.
My point was that in the first two films, Krueger was not a jokester. People sometimes forget that.
