Thats great! You should have won first place like i said before. And i also predicted that the guy who won third place would win something...my bet was that you came first and he came second...i was pretty close with that bet.
I dont mind not ending up as a winner. I only enter contests to get some attention for my drawings. This was the third contest ive entered and ive won first place in two of them.
I gave away those prizes because i only enter because contests are great showrooms
Its all fine the people who should have won,have won. Only downside is that you should have won first place man.

Softness is important. I know in school they really nail into your head "make those darks darker, don't be scared", yet, conscious gentle softness as you have here, is what really makes these portraits beautiful.

Thanks i really wanted that part to look good because the lighting makes it stand out and people are drawn there because of it.... so the texture of the leather had to be really nice.
If you look closely you can even discover a few of my fingerprints
Ive touched the paper and it became visible while drawing.
I left it that way because i thought it was a neat thing( i have at least one fingerprint in every drawing).
It will forever be a way to show its my original work hahaha
