Something about the flowing soft feathers, and the whipping tendrils gives this guy a nice middle point between creepy, but not necissarly evil. Interesting concept, and brilliant execution.

I think you've succeeded. He definately is scary, and he could potentially be evil but then again he looks almost like some sort of elemental spirit or something. I love the feathers and how the tendrils look like they could be roots or something. The blurred branch just in front in interesting too, its like you were walking through the forest, turned a corner around a tree, and this is what you happened upon. This whole thing is dynamic and still at the same time ^^
