Absolutely gorgeous. The way you got the bird in flight is amazing! Colors are superb, standing out against a plain background and looking completely at home in its habitat. I like the way you have made not only the bird clear, but the reeds as well. It makes it look natural.
The texture of the goldfinch's feathers looks so soft, and the way the wings are slightly blurred brings out the superior look on the birds determined face. Speaking about the texture: the different contrasts is a very good idea. Blurry background, soft feathers, smooth beak and rough reeds. I think it greatly brings out how, even though they are all so different, they work together exceedingly well.
Even better if? Are one of the reeds snapped? Though a tiny detail, it would depend on if I'm being picky or not. I could say that it distracts me slightly once I noticed it, or it can state that not everything in the wild is perfect. Anyway, gorgeous picture!

Nice ! It's really rare to see a still of their wings at the top like that.Β
Also, you got him next to the plant he got his name from (at least in French and Latin).
The colors on his head and wings really stand out.
