I too am curious about the background. I've seen Adam Hughes do something similar in some of his sketches, where they look like bubbles. Nice job

I have a large bottle of the colorless blender. I covered the figure with board so it was unaffected, and then dripped large or small drops of the blender, and let it just do its job.
