Thanks! It does kinda look like a cherry in the scan, doesn't it? It's certainly dark, but you know. Not THAT dark.

(Naw, it's not bad. I don't happen to be a fan of the red nose-tip technique in general, myself, unless the character is ill or has been out in the snow, but it's a perfectly valid technique nonetheless, so don't let me tease you for real.)

You're awful. I use it often just to add more color to the face. All of those earthy browns start looking pretty flat after a while. So I'll throw pinks, reds, greens, and blues in there from time to time to liven things up.

Thanks! I like trying to use really strong lighting to allow me to muck around with color a bit.
