I don't believe you fully intended this to be overexposed, but I may be wrong (not the first time). That said, proper or under may not be ideal for the composition either.
Judicious darkening of shadow tonality and careful restoration of the subtle highlights could really punch this up and eliminate any doubt of what you meant to capture. Things like the rust in the wheel and tailpipe would contrast the smooth legs.
Lots to like about the composition, that's solid.
