I had to stop sketching for a few days as I moved apartments this weekend. Yeah! lol. I'm so happy to be out of my old place. The new apartment is super nice and cheaper too, but I won't bore anyone with the detail. Still, with all that moving and chaos, I was able to at least get this quick sketch of Black Orchid done. It would probably look better with colors, but I still think the pose is striking, Had a lot of fun with the hair, lol.Black Orchid (c) DC Comics

WOW Rich! This take me back. I loved this book. You're making me feel like diggin it up and reading it all over. I think it was cool that they never drew the end of her "hair"; It always went on beyond the panel. Good one man. Hey, Did you ever read Enigma or The invisibles from vertigo? Those were good books too.

Yeah, I loved the original mini, the series was kind of hit and miss though. Loved what they did with the hair too.
I read both Enigma and Invisibles, both excellent. Now that you reminded me, lol, I want to try drawing them too.
