When I first watched the show as a kid, I thought when Shinichi changed to Conan I thought he had Spit Personality Disorder. Because I watched the dub first and they had different voices for Conan and his inner monologue. And as a dumb kid I was like, "Is Shinichi telling him what to do?? ".

Lol. Yea.
Rewatching Erased made me remember that.

Edit : Maybe split personality isn't the right way to describe it...
