Description
A sketch of the Master Chief, main character and hero in the fantastic Bungie Studios Halo franchise. It started as a quick sketch, then I decided to add some underlay color, then some shading color. The background is done with a billowing smoke effect via Eye Candy filter. This piece might turn into something greater, should I decided to add more detail or do a revamp. Hope you enjoy it.

The colouring isn't great because of the white gaps but i like the cell shading and what program do you use?

Just Adobe Photoshop. I left the white gaps there on purpose, mainly to try and give it a quick concept sketch feel to it.

By the way, if anyone has any tips on sketching on a PC tablet, please feel free to pass them on. I'd love to hear some cooring techniques, as well. XD

How did you do your colouring? A layer set to multiply and then brushed it in?
I think maybe I'll try a halo piece...
