maybe im thinking to much in full Symmetry but i get the feeling our perception is trying to symmetrical and how to imagine unknown asymmetry ?
The Problem with lens distortion it can partly fix asymmetry into more symmetrical results.

yeah it becomes really hard to not get the idea with that almost identical shot (though it is still not 100% identical to close in annas case and in annas case our brain would have to imagine the smile now as well) that they are the same person of course you saw both they where standing in front of you many times and you would not have percepted it this way i think for you what you saw was unique not sure if it would be the same if both would have stood at the same time in front of you.
Maybe you would have thought wow they really look like twins and you might even would have told them that out loud.
at least we are about to prove that at least on camera you can make them appear like twins to the observer in the way you shoot them in a very specific perspective.

Difficult to decide. I met Jeny only once on the street with her outfit, and I met Anna several times in my studio. Very different conditions. Maybe I can invite Jeny to my studio when she is back in Germany
