I feel like this is giving me more confidence in what I think up for clothing in one of my stories-to-be. That said, nicely done!

INA = In the New Age. He started at Comic Genesis but for the life of me, I don't know where he's continuing it.

I loved this! Is it all right it I used some of that clothing for a fanfic character? I f I post her, I give you recognition.

Question! What is the difference between Rokos VS Furries/Anthros(non-cartoon-y) VS Weres? And is there really an all-important difference between the human-style feet and the adapted animal legs? And where do human heads come into all of this? I am confused...

RickGriffin In reply to EarthStarUnicorn [2007-06-16 15:21:44 +0000 UTC]

Roko are a specific race for my INA book. There's a bunch of lore and whatnot that I have for them that is specifically for them in that setting.

Furries are anthropomorphic animals, in general.

Weres are actually humans that can transform into said anthros, though some people use a completely different definition than I do.

Plantigrade/Digitigrade is largely an aesthetic difference.

And I dunno what you mean about human heads.

You can use the clothing if you want, but all this stuff is specific to my setting.

OK Thanx!

When I say human heads I mean that:

When you do anthros, You use the actual animal's head but I have been working on a character with a human body except she walks on all fours 80% of the time, has wolf ears on the sides of her head, and from the waist down has a wolf's body (tail, leg shape, paws, fur) and looks kinda like a Faun (mythical not a baby deer) like in Pan Labyrinth.

I'm confused on whether she is still concidered an anthro or something else.

Oooooh! Very interesting designs. I did notice, though, that many of the designs reminded me of the type of clothing Egyptians wear. We're they an inspiration or were these just off-the-top-of-your-head designs?

Actually when asked about what the major influence was, people seem to ask from all over the board. Japanese, Greek, Native American, etc.

Kai likes Shiro. ^^ And as a fellow prettboy-Fox, let me say that you'd most likely catch me in the Summer clothes or the silk robes.

This is good stuff, man. Keep up the brilliant work!

Woah. The fact that you've created an entire culture, complete with clothing styles and a LANGUAGE, just blows my mind. Props.

However, you forgot to mention that he normally wouldn't be walking around with his tail that high It might garner some unwelcome come-ons. XD
