this is an unbelievable capture. The white mist of the snow, vicious, isolated effect on the tree. Standing alone, with others hiding in the distance. Amazing shot, I want to be there.

i'm happy you like it, my friend.. but believe me, it was unbelievably cold, windy and 'blizzard' like conditions.. everybody in their right minds was inside warm and cosy.. cept for this idiot with his camera.. lol

where I live there is no snow, but I do prefer the cold, so I wouldnt mind living amongst the snow.

no snow at all? or just in your locale? i always imagine New Zealand and Australia to be warm all year round, just varying degrees depending on season.

we have snow on the mountains and in the south island during winter we will have snow. But where I am in the north island, there is never snow. NZ is quite different to australia though, we have much colder temperatures and way more rain. It is only really warm in our summer and sometimes spring. But autumn and winter are slowly beginning now. Glad your doing well
