Great shot Rik! I love the color contrasts of the blue-purple sky with the brown of the water near the cliff.

NO; NO SUCH THING AS PREDESTINATION. IT'S JUST "TIME AND UNFORSEEN OCCURANCE" THAT "BEFALLS US ALL." GOD SAYS DON'T LOOK FOR OMENS OR SIGNS - JUST BE ON TIME MORE OFTEN, MATEY.

ah, my friend.. there we will have to agree to disagree, as our beliefs are different from each others..

YEP; WE'LL DISAGREE, ALTHOUGH I'M NOT SURE ABOUT WHICH PART. EVEN THOUGH I DON'T LOOK FOR OMENS OR SIGNS, I DO PRAY TO GOD TO HELP ME MAKE GOOD DECISIONS BASED ON COMMONSENCE, AND MY BIBLE-TRAINED CONSCIENCE.

as a rule, i try not to talk about religion, Eric.. i am not in the slightest religious and do not believe in God or organised religion.. but i do respect others beliefs and opinions.. on the other hand, i do believe in fate etc..

THAT'S FUNNY AND INTERESTING ABOUT YOU. USUALLY, THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE IN PREDETERMINED FATE ARE PEOPLE WHO ALSO HAVE A BELIEF - ALTHOUGH MISGUIDED - IN SOME FORM OF GOD OR GODS.
I RESPECT THEM ALL IF THAT'S WHAT THEY BELIEVE OR DON'T BELIEVE, THOUGH. AND I DON'T EVER TRY TO MAKE PEOPLE FEEL BAD FOR WHAT THEY BELIEVE. THAT'S WHAT'S NICE ABOTU YOU; YOU DON'T DO THAT EITHER.

really? then perhaps in some sense i am slightly religious.. just not in the God/Jesus sense.. i did tend to believe more in Pagan beliefs when i was younger, especially the old Celtic gods and goddesses.. bearing in mind the history of my country etc.. but as i have got older, i just don't bother so much.. whether life is preordained or we shape it ourselves, what happens, happens.. as far as respect etc.. my mother was brought up Roman Catholic abd my father was brought up Methodist.. In respect of each others religious upbringings, they did not 'push' any religion onto myself or my siblings and left it upto us to 'decide' our beliefs.. i guess i get my tolerance from that.. i would never condemn anyone for believing.. Belief in god does not make a man what or who he is.. it is belief in himself..

WELL, THE CELTIC MYTHOLOGY IS ALWAYS GREAT FOR SOME GOOD ADVENTUROUS STORIES. JUST LIKE GREEK AND NORDIC MYTHOLOGY. MY DADDY NEVER CARED ABOUT REGEGION; BUT MY MOMMA WAS A DEVOUT BAPTIST UNTIL SHE SAW MORE AND MORE HOW THINGS WEREN'T AS THEY SHOULD BE - HOW THINGS WERE BEING TOUGHT IN THE PULPIT THAT WERE CLEARLY NOT IN THE BIBLE, AND WERE NEVER TOUGHT BY JESUS; YET THESE PEOPLE CLAIMED TO BE CHRISTIAN. SHE LOOKED AROUND ELSEWHERE TO SEE THAT IT WAS THE SAME WITH THE OTHER RELEGIONS OF CHRISTENDOM.
THEY WERE TEACHING WAR AND RACISM AND RELEGIOUS INTOLERANCE AND GREED AND UNJUST ETERNAL TOMENT FOR THE WICKED; BUT THESE ARE ALL THINGS THAT JESUS CONDEMNED AS EVIL. SO SHE KNEW THESE GROUPD WERE NOT REALLY CHRISTIAN. THEN SHE FOUND JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES WHO ACTUALLY FOLLOW WHAT JESUS TOUGHT AND LIVE BY THOSE STANDARDS OF LOVE AND PEACE; SO SHE KNEW WHERE SHE WANTED TO BE.
BUT SHE NEVER MADE ME BECOME A JEHOVAH'S WITNESS. WITH TIME, I DECIDED FOR MYSELF THAT'S WHERE I NEEDED TO BE. AND I GO AND TALK TO OTHER PEOPLE ABOUT GOD'S KINGDOM; BUT ONLY IF THEY WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT. AND I DONT' BEAT THEM OVER THE HEAD WITH IT BECAUSE HTAT'S NOT WHAT GOD WANTS US TO DO.
