i love the background--creepy wild textures and patterns and colors. a mix of photography and painting.
reminds me of a guy named travis smith, who does tons of professional work for heavy metal bands. [if you ever have time, google him and check out his work.]

ooo alot of brushwork here. Like the background behind the frosty bush and the colour you picked out there. I think the border is ok on the whole however just a little harsh and painty just under the top right corner in grey. Soften that up with a whiter speckle and i think this would improve it greatly and reflect the image content which the majority of the background/border does.

wow, thanks for that, LizzY..although, you give me too much credit for brushwork, it is actually a texture, that i have forgotten where i got, but it includes the vignette/border..i will go back and have a look at the top right and see if i can edit where you say, but don't hold your breath, i;m not that adept with PS..lol
