Well, I thought that for once, I could work on something else than gay couples, so... I drew danceshipping from YGO, Mai Kujaku and Anzu Masaki.Suddenly, I became slightly attached to this pairing. Why? Who the fuck know, it just planted itself into my head and became to evolve.
And when you're drawing art of a certain couple, you know you're doomed. Still, I like this work, even though it's a bit messy and Mai's legs are a bit weird.

the only difference is, everything ive uploaded on DA are either gays, gay shippings memes, my self in anime, the random single person~

tho i dont really like mai and anzu...i mean, they hardly even talked to each other. and it seems like mai likes yugi and jounouchi, anzu likes yugi and yami.
i prefer GL to be more close to canon...or at least somewhat more likely to happen, like yami and yugi when they are OVERLY FRIENDLY but never officially dated or anything~ or when theres really really obvious hints thats the author ships them, or when the anime is actually about GL. in YGO i dont find any of the female characters "shippable" tbh -.-

It would be odd for me not to ship SOME lesbians, being mostly one myself. :'D I want to draw AnzuxShizuka art at some point. I feel it need to be done.
Yes, I don't know why I tend to ship it either, it's so weird. :') It's the same as for shipping any guy in the show; it's just something one prefers, no matter how silly it is. XD
Understandable, though. :3 The guys are easier to ship, since normally they wouldn't be so... Well... Cheesy. Females are that by default. And really, there isn't many females in YGO anyway; it's so weird. XD Any interesting ones anyway.

have u ever watched akuma no riddle? its yuri <-- what the others says. but there was only like one kiss scene, like ONE -.- itwas more of a CPR rather than a kiss tho XD which makes it more shoujo-ai rather than yuri to me -.-
the episode i watched on YGO recently, Anzu and Sshizuka were hanging out and it really seemed like a date XD have fun drawing them~~

Hahaha, no, no. :'D I'm technically able to be in a relationship with any gender, but I can't be intimately with a man, only with a woman. I don't mind kissing either, but anything more than that is just iffy. :3 It's a bit complicated. I would say I'm bisexual, but that's not really so either if I can do more with a woman than with a man. But you probably don't care to hear about these things, I'm sorry.

Not to mention, females are very poorly written most of the time. I really hate females who do nothing but scream and whine as if they were on constant periods or something. Then there's the damsels in distress, who serve no other purpose than to be a price for the main protagonist. Male characters have much more variations on characters and although there are types I dislike there as well, females tend to have more of those qualities... :/

so basically u just dont feel comfortable with males but ur mostly a lesbian. so like my conclusion is that towards females u r homosexual and towards males u r asexual. yep that makes sense~

so its like theres 13 girls in one class. one of them is the target (main character) and the rest of them are assassins trying to kill her. but then one assassin starts to like the main character so she became her guardian to protect her from the rest of the assassins XD

long story short, basically a girl got attacked by some masked people and another girl saved her and they start to develop "friendship" yeah right haha

Yeah! They're all some friggin' schoolgirls, it's ridiculous. Almost like Marvel or DC, where grown up women all dress like skanks, more or less. I love them both, but come on... There are good female character is certain shows, like Molly (Or Eva) in Oban Star-Racers; what a cool female lead! It's just so rare.

Yeah... And when one of the main personality seems to be the angry/complaining one. A bitch who gets angry about EVERYTHING and can threaten others, especially men, with no consequences and hit them like friggin' baseball players. It's so GHHHHHH!! The other type I hate is the damsel in distress. Just... Don't.
Yeah, Girl Love stories do the personality things a bit better than shoujo stories. :'> They tend to have more variation. Azumanga Daioh is one shoujo manga that I really enjoy, actually; it's centered around a group of girls and I like all of them! What has this world come to! :'D

OMG!! THAT IS SO ANNOYING!! i cant believe people would fall in love with someone like that i mean who would...
and i feel like girls get treated way too nice. like its ok for them to slap other people but its wrong, immoral, rude, whatever if they get slapped (unless the person slapping them is also a girl...-.-)
i watched like one episode of azumanga daiou w/ my sister before lol. but i found it kinda boring DX there wasnt a plot and its not that hilarious for comedy... and school life is not my type haha
but even in GL the girls dont have much personality (even tho its already a lot better than shoujo) theres rarely any good GL anime/manga with actual story that IS NOT SCHOOL LIFE. Β why is school life so popular DX and i would actually prefer it if the GL is not the main focus...like, the story has its own plot but all the characters are lesbian~ C:

That's true. I don't read GL stories so often, mostly because the characters tend to be a bit plain. Guys have such a wide variation of character, but females really don't. I hope it's not the sexism issue, which it probably is...
It's alright to demand for quality, though. :'D I've thought about making a lesbian story at some point, too, but guys are easier to work with... XD Bah.

YES IKR?! most GL girls dont really have much personality... they r all like superrrrrrrr girly and sometimes the seme girl is tomboyish but most of the time they r all so girly DX and i feel like yuri is mostly focused on ecchi and not much story...
i dont think thats gender biased tho, cuz its true, i mean BL is so much more popular than GL for a reason. GL couldve been a lot more popular if they r written better tho...Β

I love that couple and it makes me really happy that you did draw them. Anzu and Mai look great together, I like your picture. This is a very nice idea and I like your colouring. I like how their hair turned out, many people have problems with Anzus and Mais hair, but it looks really good. To be honest I like gay couples a lot, but Shojo Ai is adorable, too. Danceshipping is my favourite couple. We need more pictures with them, keep up the good work.

I started to ship these two kind of accidently and I felt like drawing females together. Been drawing males so much, it's starting to be a pain! I'm going to draw these two again, someday, though. And to be honest, to me, Anzu's hair is really easy to draw. I really enjoy drawing her. Ans this is my first attempt at Mai... I guess it turned out okay, then. XD
